Hadassah was founded in 1912 to bring public health services to pre-state Israel.  Today, more than 600 Nashvillians, along with some 300,000 American women in 1,500 chapters in every congressional district in the United States support our network of Israel projects in addition to our volunteer work at home.  Hadassah is the largest women's, the largest Jewish and the largest Zionist organization in the U.S.
