Incident Form to Report Anti-Semitism in School

If you have experienced or witnessed an incident of anti-Semitism at school or related to school, please fill out the form below. We will maintain confidentiality and not share information without your permission unless there is imminent danger requiring action. If this is an emergency, please dial 911. We understand that the victim may be one of few (or the only) Jewish students at school, and that requires sensitive handling of the incident.

We will contact you to gather more information. The information you send to us is Strictly Confidential. If you have questions, contact Deborah Oleshansky.

Speak Out to Elected Officials

Making your views known to our elected officials is an important part of being an American citizen. The Jewish Federation of Greater Nashville encourages you to communicate regularly with elected officials regarding issues important to you.

When you have issues you would like to address with your elected officials, this website can help you contact your national and state representatives HERE.  For Nashville city council, find your representative HERE

If you wish to discuss the matter in a public format, you can contact The Tennessee HERE.

If you would like to suggest an article or write a letter to the editor of The Observer, contact them HERE.

National Partners

We are members of both Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) and the Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA).  We also work closely with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) on anti-semitism.

JFNA is the umbrella organization for all Jewish Federations in North America. They provide support for day-to-day operations, information about Jewish-related current events, and assist us with planning when we bring delegations to Washington DC.

JCPA represents 125 local JCRCs and 17 national Jewish agencies, including the four main denominations of American Judaism. JCPA provides tremendous information, training & advocacy resources. Sign up for their newsletter to see all they have to offer!

The ADL aims to stop the defamation of the Jewish people & to secure justice & fair treatment to all. They provide excellent resources on helping fight anti-semitism, partner with us on a number of programs & help coordinate response when incidents occur.
