Hurricane Ian's destruction is catastrophic. A storm surge of up to 12 feet and 150 mile per hour winds caused billions of dollars of damage throughout Florida’s West Coast and beyond. Ian plunged large areas into darkness, cut off water to millions and has left residents displaced and stranded. Jewish communities and others have significant needs in terms of shelter, recovery, aid and rebuilding. Our Partnership Together (P2G) Southeast Hadera Eiron Consortium has regional members who reside in several Florida communities including Ft. Myers (Lee and Charlotte County), Pinellas County (Florida Gulf Coast), and Jacksonville (Northeast Florida). We are prioritizing immediate aid to the needs of our P2G partners.
